About the Role
 

In this role you will own all activities to ensure JOEM growth for ReadyVision Product Family including Software and Hardware products that will profitably address market in our portfolio.  You would own short-term and long-term product engineering activities of ReadyVision to realize the growth for HARMAN. You will show case cutting edge Ready Vision product solutions to OEMs and key stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Solid technical aptitude, with previous experience in the automotive space including Hardware, Mechanical, Software and Optical Engineering
  • Experience in JOEM customer handling and market understanding and working closely with JOEM engineering and product planning teams
  • Build a solid understanding of the market for HARMAN AR HUD products; develop and maintain competitive awareness to support product positioning and sales enablement activities.
  • Present Augmented Reality demonstration systems, Space 1 products, and technology roadmaps at customer events and trade fairs, as needed
  • Collaborate with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to integrate HUD systems into vehicle platforms
  • Perform Optical Performance Validation –On-site testing for image clarity, brightness, contrast, ghosting, and distortion.
  • Tools usage experience such as luminance meters, photometers, and camera-based systems, and Ensure compliance with standards such as SAE J1757 and ISO 15008
  • Hands on experience in product demo set up, debugging, software features understanding, optical solutions and environmental measurements
  • Drive evaluation of the market feedback with responsible product managers and technical leads supporting roadmap change control board decision preparation
  • Tailor demonstrations to address specific customer requirements and use cases and provide pre-sales technical support by addressing OEMs questions during demos
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues during product presentations, taking logs, customer vehicle features understanding, supporting the product packaging study, vehicle drive demos and customer demand planning
  • Requirements collection, specifications write up assistance, preparing the customer specific presentations, detailed documentations, user guides, and vehicle product planning
  • Collaborate with HMI/UX teams to render HUD content (navigation, ADAS alerts, speed).
  • Conduct training sessions for OEMs on product features and applications, set up, calibration, configure, diagnose, resolve issues by ensuring minimal disruption, train customer engineers and service teams on HUD operation and diagnostics.
  • Develop technical documentation, integration guides, and troubleshooting manuals and optimize the systems for product demos.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to create impactful demonstration strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Extensive experience in working with Tier-s1 \ OEMs in the Digital Cockpit product development.
  • Solid Experience in supporting OEM's RFQ, RFI and RFC responses from Product concept alignment to product development.
  • Gathering product details from product leaders and regenerating them in a way that is understandable and exciting to the customers.
  • Collaborate with external creative agencies in the HUD space to develop product enablement materials and tools; determine and align program requirements and drive execution.
  • Create a sense of urgency and drive clarity across multi-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Identify issues and address them head-on using data to move forward
  • Act as the key interface to the Ready Vision global product team
     

What You Need

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, engineering, information communications technology or comparable course of studies, MBA preferred
  • Total 10-15 years of experience with engineering and product management background
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks
  • Ability to explain complex topics in simple words and clear logic
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Profound technical understanding on AR, display, optical, vehicle E/E technology
  • Excellent written & verbal English language skills
