  • M-F
  • 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Area: Radiology Physicians
  • Location: LUMC, Maywood, IL

About the Job

The Administrative Assistant supports the Radiology and Medical Imaging Department by managing calendars, coordinating meetings, assisting with onboarding, preparing reports, and maintaining records. Additional duties include event planning, processing expenses and supply orders, and providing administrative support to the Residency Coordinator and physicians.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. This role offers opportunities to contribute to department projects, mentor new staff, and ensure smooth administrative operations.

Here's what you'll need:

Required:

  • High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education 
  • Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience

Preferred:

  • Associate's degree
  • Administrative or technical background acquired through completion of 2-3 years of college
  • 6-10 years of previous job-related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Required: 

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organization and office coordination skills

  • Exhibit great time management skills

  • Exhibit great to problem solving skills

  • Ability to manage projects with strong attention to detail

  • Intermediate computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other similar applications.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $20.00 - 28.14 USD Hourly

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
