About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Test Engineer to join our global technology team. This position is responsible for developing and executing performance and automation tests. You will plan and execute effective and efficient testing strategies to ensure the on-time delivery of high-quality software products and services.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute automated and performance testing for assigned projects
Collaborate with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing and ensure product quality
Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
Work with QA/Testing staff, technical leads, and subject matter experts to plan and execute tests
Report issues and results, research root causes, and document findings
Ensure testing aligns with agreed requirements and quality standards
Research and implement tools that enhance testing capabilities and product quality
Identify opportunities to apply automation and other tools to meet testing needs
Investigate root causes of performance issues in collaboration with architects, developers, and system engineers
Conduct project reviews and implement quality control procedures
Enhance methodologies for test planning, defect tracking, and reporting
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and best practice implementation
Maintain documentation for internal and external IT audits
Collaborate across teams to improve QA/testing processes
Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency
Ensure root cause analysis results are addressed
Requirements:
2+ years of QA Test Engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience required
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development processes
Proven ability to develop and execute automated and performance testing
Solid QA testing skills and attention to detail
Strong project management and research skills
Knowledge of process improvement and industry trends
Understanding of budgets and cost-effective testing practices
Familiarity with continuous improvement practices
Good oral and written communication skills
Advanced written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
