Purpose of Role: 
The Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting receiving, in-process, and final inspections of a wide range of complex components with tight tolerances. This role is critical to maintaining product quality and ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections at various stages (receiving, in-process, final) using manual tools such as calipers, micrometers, measuring tape, durometer, and ultrasound machine
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents (training available if needed)
  • Document inspection results and input data into computer systems
  • Collaborate with machinists and inspection team to ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to quality standards
  • Notify Quality Manager, Engineers, and Production Management of any non-conforming parts
  • Uphold safety standards and demonstrate commitment to zero harm behaviors
     

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications

  • Diploma/degree required
  • 1+ years of inspection experience preferred, but not mandatory—training will be provided
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inspection software
  • Experience in manufacturing or quality inspection environments is a plus
