To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quality Technician located in Aguascalientes

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our team in the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) area. The Quality Technician will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring the quality of electronic assemblies and processes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with internal, external and customer quality standards.

What a typical day looks like:

Validates that tools and gauges function correctly (microscope, magnifier, etc.).
Perform in-process and final inspections of SMT assemblies using visual inspection and AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) systems.
Monitor and verify SMT line processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and work instructions.
Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
Assist in the implementation of quality control plans and procedures.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Participate in audits and support continuous improvement activities (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing).
Ensure proper handling and traceability of non-conforming materials.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Technical degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a quality role within an SMT or electronics manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards (preferred).
Experience with inspection tools such as AOI, X-ray, multimeters, and microscopes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
