Contribute to Collins Customer and Quality Excellence by ensuring the continued effectiveness and compliance of local Quality Management Systems to meet all applicable customer and regulatory requirements!
In this role you will be involved in all aspects of our QMS, liaise with relevant authorities and work closely with process owners to align processes and practices and drive maturity and continuous optimization.
This role supports both RCD and Kidde-Deugra.
Responsibilities:
• Liaises with authorities and certifying bodies on all matters related to certification and compliance
• Acts as a focal point for internal and external audits and coordinates the resolution and closure of non-compliance and corrective action(s)
• Manages and/or oversees the Quality Management System (QMS), processes, procedures, to ensure the organization’s compliance.
• Communicates, aligns and ensures the implementation of changes in RTX and Collins standards as well as in regulatory norms and standards
• Prepares and maintains Quality Manuals, Documentation and Processes.
• Ensures oversight of stamps and MRB authorizations
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives (LEAN/CORE)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in an advanced technical discipline or several years of equivalent professional experience in the aerospace sector
• Deep understanding of quality and aerospace standards ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100, EASA/EMAR -21 and -145, AQAP
• Knowledge of Safety Management System, ECSS standards is an advantage
• Deep understanding of the Collins Management System
• Very good (business fluent) written and spoken English and German skills
• Excellent communication skills with a high degree of persuasiveness, assertiveness, and persistence
• Independent and goal-oriented way of working in an international environment • Flexibility and ability to work in a team
