Quality Engineering Lead

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality engineering automation to enhance the overall quality and reliability of software products
  • Design and implement automated test strategies for AEM Cloud applications using tools such as Selenium, BrowserStack, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, etc.
  • Establish processes & tools to maintain automation scripts and generate reports for faster bug tracking & reporting
  • Analyze automation results and investigate failures
  • Develop test patterns to evaluate the solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Drive software development process to ensure quality-centric methodologies; captures, records, and implements leading practices for continued QA improvements
  • Prepare and deliver formal quality audit reports
  • Identify critical metrics for product quality and tracks the identified quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities, defect frequency, and first-time pass rate
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to define quality standards and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Collaborate with AEM developers to validate component-level functionality, content authoring workflows, and integration points with backend services
  • Control, update and distribute new and revised quality standards and technical changes
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of test environments, including cloud-based testing infrastructure and service virtualization
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest frontend and backend technologies and trends, consistently improving skills and competencies to address diverse application challenges
  • Mentor and guide other team members on QA/QE practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in testing practices
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, performance, and security testing across web and mobile platforms

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud applications, including Sites, Assets, and integrations
  • Familiarity with closed system and known testing practices and open-source testing frameworks
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, and Postman/Swagger for API testing
  • Experience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, SiteImprove or similar cross-browser testing platforms
  • Experience in developing and performing manual / automated tests
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and code review tools
  • Understanding of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling is a plus
  • Knowledge of security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite is a plus
  • Ability to apply specific tools and techniques for Data and ML applications
  • Ability to implement and improve QMS processes using SDLC leading practices
  • Proficient in writing tools and automation scripts
  • Knowledge in developing cloud-based applications
  • Understand cloud fundamentals
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive quality initiatives across teams

Salary range is expected to be between

$75,880.00 CAD - $140,920.00 CAD
