Quality Conformance Manager for Quality Escapes Satair (m/f/d)
What the job is..
As a Quality Conformance Manager, you will be responsible for leading the investigation and resolution of quality escapes within the Satair supply chain, ensuring adherence to Airbus quality standards and minimizing impact on operations.
How you will contribute to the team
* Lead and manage the end-to-end investigation of quality escapes(QSR, NOEs, NADL, SUP etc.) related to Satair parts and services, from initial detection to root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
* Coordinate with Satair Suppliers and internal departments to gather information and facilitate problem resolution.
* Ensure timely and effective containment actions are in place to prevent further recurrence of quality escapes.
* Generate reports on quality escape investigations, including findings, root causes, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality management system by identifying trends, proposing process enhancements, and sharing best practices.
* Act as a primary point of contact for all quality escape-related matters concerning Satair within Airbus Operations GmbH.
* Participate in quality audits and assessments as needed to ensure compliance with Airbus requirements.
* Maintain a strong understanding of relevant aerospace regulations and quality standards (e.g., EN/AS9100).
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in a quality management role ideally within the aerospace industry, with a focus on quality escapes, non-conformances, or problem resolution.
* Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., EN/AS9100) and associated processes.
* Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential; German language skills are a significant advantage.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
* Experience with Satair's products, services, or supply chain is highly desirable.
* Willingness to travel occasionally to other Satair locations (mainly Hamburg).
