What You'll Be Doing

Job Scope: Consists of collaborating with engineering and providing input to create Asset List and tag numbers and descriptions for all the equipment to be input into Maximo. Also review all drawings for tag names and descriptions and provide feedback to electrical, mechanical, and I&C to ensure that equipment is labeled correctly on the drawings. Develop the asset list for ordering equipment tags. Develop Safe TK load sheet for isolating equipment for modernization. Develop Maximo asset load sheet to upload into Maximo. Develop recommendations for Maintenance Strategy based off the O&M Manuals for all equipment being installed as part of modernization for the plant approval. Develops Maximo hierarchy and PM strategy and provides the plant for review. This position is performed remotely with occasional visits to site as requested. This position hours worked are based on the availability of each plant’s progress with modernization.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • The Worker shall support site management by collaborating with engineering and providing input to create Asset List and tag numbers and descriptions for all the equipment to be input into Maximo according to D11 Standards and Tech Specs.

  • The Worker shall review all drawings for tag names and descriptions and provide feedback to electrical, mechanical, and I&C to ensure that equipment is labeled correctly on the drawings.

  • The Worker shall adhere to and participate in the Purchaser’s Stop Work Authority (SWA) program.

  • The Worker shall develop the asset list for ordering equipment tags. And develop Safe TK load sheet for isolating equipment for modernization according to D11 Standard.

  • The Worker shall develop Maximo asset load sheet to upload into Maximo.

  • The Worker shall develop recommendations for Maintenance Strategy based off the O&M Manuals for all equipment installed as part of modernization for the plant approval.

  • The Worker shall Develops Maximo hierarchy and PM strategy and provides the plant for review.

  • The Worker shall attend and participate in the necessary Project meetings based on their individual role.

  • The Worker shall become familiar with and be able to interpret any technical specifications and drawings related to the scope of work.

  • The Worker shall complete any necessary deliverables as defined by their individual role or as directed by Purchasers onsite representatives.

  • The Worker shall coordinate their daily activities to support the Project.

  • The Worker shall understand their role/responsibilities and be able to respond to site/project conditions, as applicable, on behalf of the Purchaser’s onsite representatives in a timely manner and with minimal direction or supervision.

  • The Worker shall immediately report any incidents, unsafe conditions, unusual activities, or otherwise unforeseen circumstances to the Purchaser’s onsite representative.

Ideal Background

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management or related field from an accredited university is preferred.

Experience: This position requires 4 or more years of relevant experience in quality assurance/quality control administration, inspection and representation within Industrial Construction environments.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in and thorough knowledge of construction work methods and practices and codes and standards.

  • Proven ability to monitor industrial project contractor performance and to verify that specifications and quality standards are met.

  • Proven ability to analyze quality assurance data and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Proven ability to audit and compile quality records.

  • Proven ability to interface directly with clients.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and innovative thinking style.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Knowledge and experience with turnover tracking tools is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry in excess of 25 lbs.
