We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Coordinator to manage all procurement activities, including intercompany purchases and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective purchasing processes while fostering strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. The ideal candidate is results-driven, structured, and capable of navigating complex procurement frameworks in an international environment. The role is based in La Spezia.
Procurement Management
Coordinate and oversee all purchasing activities across the organization.
Manage intercompany procurement processes, ensuring alignment with group policies and contractual standards.
Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal quality, cost and delivery performance.
SLA & Contract Oversight
Draft, implement, and manage Service Agreements with group companies and third-party suppliers.
Monitor compliance with contractual terms and agreed performance indicators, addressing deviations proactively.
Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier performance.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Finance, PM, Operations, Legal, and other internal functions to ensure seamless purchasing workflows.
Maintain accurate procurement records and provide transparent reporting on purchasing activities.
Support administrative tasks within the procurement function, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management.
Hands-on experience with SLA management and intercompany purchasing is a strong asset.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with procurement systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is mandatory – (SAP is a plus).
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and senior management
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Language Skills:
Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
