About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
About the role
The Public Relations Intern supports the PR and Marketing team in executing communication strategies, assisting with media relations, and contributing to the hotel’s storytelling initiatives. This internship provides an exceptional opportunity to learn about brand positioning, public relations operations, and media communication within a leading luxury hospitality environment. You will work closely with the Director of PR and the Director of Marketing, gaining hands-on experience while contributing your creativity, enthusiasm, and organizational skills to amplify the property’s visibility and brand reputation.
What you will do
Assist in drafting press releases, social media captions, and internal communications.
Support media inquiries, press visits, and influencer collaborations.
Help monitor media coverage and compile PR reports with relevant metrics.
Contribute to social media content planning, scheduling, and engagement.
Assist in organizing events, media gatherings, and community outreach initiatives.
Help maintain the hotel’s media contact lists and update communication materials.
Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure messaging consistency.
Learn and practice the Four Seasons approach to communication and service excellence.
What you bring
Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and interest in public relations and communications.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and writing skills with attention to detail and creativity.
Organization: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Technical skills: Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Publisher) and general computer literacy.
Adaptability: Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take initiative.
Language proficiency: Fluency in both English and Spanish.
Legal right to work in Spain.
Degree: Professional /Technician.
Languages: Spanish / English.
Language Ability: High.
