  • Provide clinical advice and guidance to the SHIFT team, including consultation, supervision, and training.
  • Facilitate psychosocial education groups and coordinate appointment planning and follow-up documentation.
  • Review referrals and assess the need for specialist support, ensuring appropriate models of care are applied.
  • Maintain accurate client records and reporting requirements using Mission Australia’s case management systems.
  • Liaise with external support agencies and contribute to service planning and staff meetings.
  • Support safety and crisis planning during sessions and collaborate with case managers and program managers post-incident.

  • Demonstrated experience working with young people facing complex AOD and mental health challenges.
  • Proven ability to apply therapeutic approaches and conduct risk assessments in clinical settings.
  • Strong case management, assessment, and referral skills, with experience in youth-specific services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in maintaining client files and confident using information management systems.
  • A positive, person-centred approach and commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • First Aid Certificate is desired but not essential.
  • Full driver licence with no restrictions.

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
