Position Summary
Are you looking to flex your contracting skills with a rapidly evolving Network team and growth-oriented company? Come join our Provider Contracting team and use your negotiation skills to provide advanced professional input to complex Provider Contracting assignments.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, analyze, review, and project financial impact of larger or complex provider contracts and alternate contract terms.
Conduct negotiations and draft individual contracts while ensuring the smooth operation and administration of provider agreements.
Track the financial performance of contracts and ensure compliance with contracting guidelines.
Exercise judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures.
Exercise in-depth professional knowledge to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Provider Contracting.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of experience with provider contracting required
Strong working knowledge of various reimbursement methodologies and terminology required
Strong negotiation skills and proficiency of contract language review required
Ability to make recommendations on various issues to senior management related to contract negotiations preferred
Team oriented to ensure departmental goals and objectives are met preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; presentation skills required
Ability to work independently preferred
Ability to develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with both internal and external customers preferred
Quarterly Travel required for client visits
Strong knowledge and experience with Advanced Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
