Job Summary: This PROJECT SPECIALIST position, is part of the CA 146 AW.

Major Duties:

  • THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION Indefinite appointment cannot exceed 4 years. The primary purpose of the PROJECT SPECIALIST, GS-0301-9, is to provide overarching support analysis and recommendations on one-of-a-kind and non-recurring projects/programs. Applies appropriate management analysis techniques, theories, concepts, and practices to plan, direct, and coordinate command efforts. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.

Qualifications: General Experience: Posses experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration; experience compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information; Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled; Experience using computer and automation systems. PROJECT SPECIALIST, GS-0301-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, in: providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled; a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management; Experience developing administrative procedures.
