What is your impact?
Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the success of high-impact EPC projects by managing the procurement of critical materials, equipment, and services? As a Project Procurement Specialist, you'll be at the heart of project execution—building strong supplier relationships, negotiating strategic contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of top-quality resources. Collaborating closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams, you'll play a key role in controlling costs, meeting project milestones, and driving operational excellence.
What will you do?
Source strategically: Conduct in-depth searches and evaluations to identify suppliers that align with project goals and technical requirements.
Drive procurement cycles: Prepare and issue detailed RFQ packages, ensuring they’re aligned with project schedules and expectations.
Evaluate with precision: Review supplier quotes for compliance, accuracy, and alignment with business needs.
Manage purchasing workflows: Create and oversee purchasing requisitions with efficiency and attention to detail.
Ensure documentation integrity: Follow standard document control procedures to maintain accurate and accessible records.
Track supplier performance: Maintain comprehensive records to monitor supplier delivery, quality, and adherence to commercial terms.
Engage with clients: Communicate clearly to obtain purchase approvals in line with established protocols.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with project management, engineering, and construction teams to track progress and manage changes.
Facilitate post-award clarity: Support post-award meetings to ensure mutual understanding of contractual obligations.
Oversee delivery and claims: Ensure timely site deliveries, manage warranties, and resolve claims efficiently.
Support supplier logistics: Help suppliers gather proof of delivery to streamline invoicing.
Guide invoicing accuracy: Assist suppliers in navigating the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process for smooth transactions.
Close with confidence: Partner with the Project Controller to finalize and close out project purchase orders.
Who you are?
5–7 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role, ideally supporting EPC or industrial projects.
Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems; experience with the Ariba Sourcing Platform is a plus.
Strong proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities, with a track record of managing multiple priorities.
Demonstrates a proactive approach, adaptability, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative mindset.
Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
Experience working with procurement considerations related to the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
