The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc (“nVent”) and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. As a part of nVent, the Electrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers.
What this position offers you:
As a Project Manager at nVent Management Company, you will drive the delivery of premium manufacturing projects in Houston, TX! You will be responsible for shepherding projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless operations and outstanding results. Please note that this role will be based at our Houston facility, located at 6100 Ramona Blvd, Houston, TX 77086
You Will:
Manage the overall delivery of manufacturing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Serve as the main client contact during the project lifecycle, encouraging strong, positive client connections.
Present project status updates to clients and all involved parties, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Coordinate the project change process, identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Understand and manage client expectations, delivering flawless project execution.
Bring up any concerns that affect timing or budget to the appropriate team members, ensuring timely resolutions.
Coordinate billing, invoicing, and budget management throughout the project progression.
Identify and address any billing or invoicing issues efficiently.
Collaborate with the staffing coordinator to secure additional resources as needed.
Find opportunities for follow-up work or new projects, driving continued success for our clients.
You have:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
2-4 years of proven Project Management experience required.
Experience with Oracle preferred.
Microsoft 365, MRP, ERP systems.
A strong understanding of project accounting.
Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
