Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple, simultaneous projects within the GSM-O II contract supporting DISA. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while adhering to Agile methodologies and relevant policies. The Project Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, facilitating Agile ceremonies and driving delivery of high-quality results for the Defense Information System Network (DISN) and DOD Information Network (DODIN).
Primary Responsibilities
- Establish and communicate project vision, strategy, and goals, driving clarity and accountability across cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define, document, and oversee project team roles, responsibilities, and authorities, ensuring optimal team performance and development.
- Direct project operations, communications, and executive-level reporting for senior leadership, including the Program Director and Deputy Program Manager.
- Champion Agile methodologies, organizing and facilitating key ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) to drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
- Lead Product Owner Synchronization meetings to ensure strategic alignment, clarify requirements, and resolve competing priorities.
- Monitor, track, and drive resolution of project action items, risks, and issues, ensuring timely escalation and communication to stakeholders.
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve complex project-related challenges, leveraging advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to optimize project execution and organizational impact.
- Oversee the management of project artifacts, documentation, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements (including CDRLs), quality standards, and regulatory obligations.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate integrated project schedules, tracking progress, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Lead project budget management, financial tracking, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and executive leadership.
- Ensure project execution in compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and industry standards.
- Oversee staffing actions, talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning in collaboration with managers and HR.
- Synthesize and present complex data, insights, and recommendations to executive audiences using advanced project management tools and Microsoft Office suite.
Basic Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- Bachelor’s degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience supporting project management in a technical or IT environment.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization and with customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification
- ITIL Foundations certification

Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
