About the Job

The Red Hat IT Planning, Insights & Execution organization is looking for an experienced, senior level Change Consultant to join our team to drive adoption of strategic data and artificial intelligence (AI) priorities. In this role, you will work closely with program and project team members and subject-matter experts (SME’s) and lead change management activities for projects and transformation initiatives. You will develop and implement strategies and plans, including execution of deliverables, to ensure readiness and maximize adoption of large-scale, complex changes impacting thousands of global users and stakeholders. 

What will you do:

  • Monitor planned and active project and initiative roadmaps

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities

  • Perform change management assessments

  • Create and execute change management strategies, plans, and deliverables

  • Develop user enablement materials to prepare and support individuals affected by changes

  • Establish and monitor success metrics

  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues 

  • Consult, advise, and coach change managers and project teams

  • Hold self and others accountable

What will you bring:

  • 10+ years experience with organizational change efforts

  • Highly proficient at applying advanced change management methods, concepts and approaches for large-scale, complex changes

  • Ability to actively manage large-scale complex projects or enterprise implementations that are extensive in scope to successful completion from initiation through delivery and closure

  • Ability to identify, map, and test future consequences of change (change vision and ability to develop scenarios)

  • Expert understanding of key principles of adult learning, instructional design, and learning methods and channels to identify and meet learning needs

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, including agile, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills

  • Ability to coach and mentor others

  • Excellent active listening skills

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships

  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills

Preferred: Technical skills related to AI, including an understanding of AI ethics, data governance, and experience with AI-driven change initiatives.a
