Job Summary:
This engineering project leadership role will drive coordination, execution and communication across multiple engineering product lines within a single project. The Project Engineering Manager is responsible for coordination between product line engineering teams to ensure successful completion of project activities on-time and on-budget.
Essential responsibilities:
The role will include the responsibility and coordination of the unit engineers from each of the discipline teams. The PEM will work directly with the Controls Project Delivery Manager (PDM) and report into the Projects & Systems Engineering Leader for Subsea Projects & Services. The area of responsibilities may be changed upon the needs for each project and team solutions. But the following is an indication of the covered areas for the Role.

Responsibilities
- The PEM manages the delivery of the engineering scope to fulfil the Contractual deliverables/milestones
- Throughout Project Execution a key role of the PEM is to capture Lessons Learnt and to implement Continuous Improvements on the Project to ensure flawless execution

- Conducting detailed integrated engineering planning and execution, coordinating the teams engineering activities to achieve delivery on time and to budget for our customers
- Leading all project engineering activities; leading project meetings, design reviews, work package reviews and mentoring and developing the project engineering team.
- Issuing and approving manpower needed to execute to the schedule and any additional scope that enters the projects.
- Establishing cost analysis based on tasks and milestones and tracking and trending all engineering spending as required
- Monitoring all engineering spending as required and resolve any deviations from the allocated costs within each of the project engineering teams
- Tracking schedules beyond engineering deliverables to ensure engineering ownership and supply chain support throughout the production cycle on a part by part basis
Requirements
- Have a degree in either an engineering discipline or a project management related subject.
- Have Previous experience in positions such as, project engineering, testing, design, system engineering, or manufacturing, production and Process improvements.
- Have previous Experience working within a Leadership role
- Possess deep analytical experience and the ability to use analytical tools to aid & enhance product/offering development
