Job Description:

·       Provide technical leadership related to project design and development, planning implementation, and overall project management of the FSL and GBV program

·       Assign caseloads to caseworkers (through discussion and agreement being reached) based on a caseworker’s competencies and a reasonable and agreed workload

·       Ensure support protection assistants to provide coaching sessions for Women and Girls -friendly space (WGFS) activities and psychosocial well-being.

·       Participate in relevant coordination forums, engage with local authorities, and build partnerships with other actors to enhance program effectiveness and information exchange.

·       Establish and manage robust referral systems to provide comprehensive GBV services, including case management, psychosocial support, and legal assistance.

FSL Sector

·        Support the FSL assistant in the formation of S4T groups and making sure the follow up is up to date and group dynamics managed appropriately for the succeeds that will lead to the digitization.

·       Ensure formation of farmers groups and training conducted on GAPs for both vegetable farmers and cereals

·       Provide oversight support to the FSL assistant in the management of the cycle of the FSL related activities in the project and coordinates with the technical sector lead.

·       Support the smooth running of the school gardening clubs, right from formation to the establishment and training.

MEAL

·       Participate and facilitate in coordination with project team, and support office actively in quarter learning and review meetings.

·       Conduct regular Field visits to ensure the highest quality of the Project response in the intervention areas

·       Monitor and document the progress of project activities, Keep records of activities and report on project progress, with recommendations, in a timely manner.

·       Ensure all internal and external narrative reports are of good quality and completed on time, promoting good understanding about projects with donors, other sectors, partners, and communities
