OVERVIEW:
The Program Manager I is accountable for one or more small to medium sized program and/or multiple workstreams of relatively low to medium complexity with a within a larger program. Focuses on leading program planning efforts and manages the implementation, reporting, and performance of the overall program to ensure the successful delivery of the defined value and outcomes. Oversee equipment ordering, staging, and shipping, and coordinate onsite installations and testing with internal teams and third-party vendors for new store openings, remodels, closures, and hardware deployments. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all related tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Stakeholder Management
Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective program working relationships and to ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met.
Requirements Management
Plan and coordinate the identification, elicitation of requirements, conduct analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment, document and manage requirements throughout the life of the project and coordinate the verification of the end deliverable. Generally done at the project level.
Project Risk and Issue Management
Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate. Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to reviewing existing operations in area of work and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
Culture of Innovation
Promote a culture of innovation by creating solutions that boost creativity, innovation, and collaboration, such as idea generation platforms, jam sessions, and hackathons.
Program Risk and Issue Management
Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with a program or initiative, escalating where appropriate. Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these.
Ongoing Learning and Development
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Program/Portfolio Planning
Produce program plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, are appropriately organized to deliver program objectives, and comply with the organization's approved methodologies, frameworks, and standards.
Reporting and Review
Manage the program review process; provide stakeholders with accurate and relevant information and key recommendations at agreed review points to enable them to evaluate progress and agree on change.
Program Assurance
Conduct assurance reviews within the program, facilitate the delivery of assurance reviews by independent third parties, and take appropriate action to resolve any issues identified so that senior stakeholders have confidence that the program can deliver to time, budget, and quality.
Resource Management
Manage the deployment of program or portfolio resources, proactively managing costs, providing forecasts, and presenting variances with narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effective utilization.
Program Team Management
Lead a small program team; communicate the outcomes needed and direction to achieve outcomes, coordinates team actions on program tasks; requests additional team member support when needed; and identifies areas of improvement necessary to build the capability of the team through training, coaching and mentoring.
Benefit Realization
Carry out baseline assessment and post-implementation analyses to contribute to the measurement and tracking of business benefits.
Transformational Change Management
Act as a transformational change agent within assigned program and area of responsibility, ensuring integration with other disciplines/functions; use structured change management methodologies to drive acceptance of change and to embed desired culture and behaviors.
Program Governance
Ensure compliance with the organization's wider program and/or portfolio management decision-making structures and processes.
Budgeting
Manage budget for assigned program.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Preferred
1 to 3 years experience understanding of straightforward procedures or systems
4 to 6 months experience coordinating work of others

Targeted Pay Range: $67,100.00 - $109,000.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
