As Program Manager for the Graduate Medical Education (GME) department, you will oversee and maintain key initiatives that support the department’s mission, including educational programs in Head and Neck Education and oversight of Fellowship programs. In this role, you will develop systems and procedures that enhance patient care within the Cleveland Clinic, while gaining extensive hands-on experience and opportunities to advance your skills. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working directly with trainees and program directors, supporting the Cleveland Clinic’s mission to educate and develop the next generation of healthcare professionals through cornerstone educational efforts.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This is a hybrid role after the 90-day new-hire period, with the possibility to work from home 1–2 days per week.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Develop, implement, manage and maintain operational systems and activities.
Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization, outside community, residents, directors, attendings and the Graduate Medical Education (GME) office.
Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
Allocate time to meet completion requirements.
Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
Maintain fellow education calendar, time and progression over fellowship timeframe.
Oversee documentation for rotations, evaluations and fellowship information.
Manage Medhub responsibilities.
Support five fellowship programs.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field and two years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training
OR Associate’s Degree and four years of experience
OR Master’s Degree and one year of experience
OR High School Diploma / GED and six years of experience
Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Experience in healthcare setting
Accurate data management skills with program compliance
Prior Experience in Graduate Medical Education (GME) and Medical School Education (UME)
Experience using MedHub or Graduate Medical Education (GME) management systems
Residency/fellowship administrative program management experience
Prior knowledge of ACGME
Knowledge of Head and Neck programs
