Position Title: Program Control Associate Professional

Purpose of the position
Will perform assigned program control associate professional duties as an Amentum employee onsite at the NASA Johnson Space Center. Provides financial management and control, schedule coordination, contract data administration and functional support and coordination to support operations, under general supervision. Interfaces with various employee and management levels.
Principal Responsibilities of the Position
- Assists in developing plans, including budgets and schedules, to meet contractual/project requirements for several major portions of a program
- Ensures compliance with internal customer procedures such as government procurement regulations.
- Assists in validating and tracking of contract costs.
- Monitors progress of program requirements.
- Performs routine financial/administrative reporting for major contracts and/or programs. Prepares standardized cost status reports.
- Provides weekly and monthly transactional and pricing support to programs including reviewing subcontractor and vendor invoices to verify costs and codes for payment, auditing employee travel voucher submissions and setting up labor categories and rates in accounting systems.
- Participates in contract performance variance analyses and risk analyses, prepares reports as required.
- Acts as a liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field preferred.
- Zero or more years of related experience in finance or accounting.
- For public sector: Zero or more years of experience working with program control techniques in the federal contracting environment.
- Experience working with contract pricing including, where appropriate, federal contract pricing
- Experience working with accounting principles, software and databases
- Experience working with financial analysis
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to obtain required NASA badge.
- Must be able to provide a certified Birth Certificate (with state seal), Passport, or INS Citizenship documents on date of hire (candidate will be sent home if this paperwork is not provided upon arrival on date of hire).
- Must have the ability to communicate the English language, both verbally and written, in an effective manner.
- Must have, and maintain, a valid Texas driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment background check and drug screen test.
- Clean, neat, and professional personal appearance.
- Will insure quality and completeness of work in a safe and timely manner as well as insuring areas worked are clean, neat and ready for customers needs when complete.

- Prior knowledge of NASA site, experienced with working on government installations preferred.
