Job Summary: This PROGRAM ANALYST position, is located in the office of the State Army Aviation Officer (SAAO), STARC Headquarters and is part of the CA JFHQ SAO.

Major Duties:

  • THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-9, is to serve as the analyst responsible for accomplishing program planning, budgeting, analysis and evaluation of Army National Guard aviation programs in a state. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.

Qualifications: PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level experience in: Monitoring resource obligations and expenditures to identify deficiencies or areas for improvement; Tracking financial obligations and expenditures throughout the execution phase; Providing advice and assistance to management on accountability and legality of operating programs; Developing annual budgets for programs; Reviewing and developing trend analysis; Compiling funding projections and recommendations Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: Budget Administration Data Analysis Data Collection and Analysis Employee Development
