Community Programme Coordinator

JLL is seeking a motivated Community Programme Coordinator to join our team as an entry-level professional. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating positive change in the communities where JLL operates and eager to contribute to our impactful initiatives.

 

This role will be based in JLL Norwich, with occasional travel to other UK JLL offices.

 

 

What this job involves:

 

Community engagement and event support

• Assist with organising and coordinating volunteering sessions and employee engagement activities across JLL's UK office network

• Help maintain volunteer databases and track participation in community programmes

• Support the planning and execution of awareness campaigns and educational initiatives

• Be a key point of liaison with our community partners

• Responsibility in delivering key initiatives with our flagship charity partner, including comms, fundraising and volunteering

 

Data support and documentation

• Assist with collecting and organising community programme participation data

• Help maintain records of volunteer hours, community impact metrics, and engagement statistics

• Support the creation of simple reports and summaries for programme evaluation

• Contribute to documenting success stories and community feedback

 

Communications and content support

• Help draft social media content and internal communications about community programmes

• Assist with creating promotional materials for community events and volunteer opportunities

• Support the maintenance of community programme information on internal platforms

• Contribute to gathering testimonials and stories from community programme participants

 

General administrative support

• Help with basic research on community impact trends and local initiatives

• Support meeting coordination and preparation of materials for community programme reviews

• Assist with invoice processing and budget tracking across the community programme

Essential qualifications and skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Genuine interest in community engagement and impact

• Enthusiasm for learning and professional development

 

 

Desirable experience

• Previous volunteer experience or involvement in community initiatives

• Basic project coordination or event planning experience

• Social media or communications experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced office environment

• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
