POSITION SUMMARY

The team lead is the direct lead for the production team. This position manages the day-to-day needs of the production area and removes obstacles to ensure production is met. The team lead provides support and encouragement to the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The flow of production within the department
  • The hot parts/shortage communication and delivery
  • The update and communication in relevant meetings in manager/supervisor’s absence
  • Working with managers/supervisors to maximize efficiency and quality by department
  • Work with managers/supervisors and operators to meet productivity levels
  • Working with managers/supervisors in defining and overcoming capacity issues
  • Working with managers/supervisors and operators in modifying work schedules as necessary
  • Update and track daily metrics and operator’s daily efficiency along with department scrap
  • Daily accountability for customer orders due
  • Working with manager/supervisor on training within the department to maximize flexibility
  • Provide Material Handling support to the department, if needed (required to possess or obtain a forklift license)
  • Will be required to flex to other areas as needed
  • Maintain positive interpersonal skills
  • Plant leadership training required

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Product & part knowledge preferred
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Oracle software experience preferred

Salary Range: The compensation range(s) identified below are a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations. Actual salaries may vary based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, education and training; and other relevant business and organizational factors. Most candidates will start in the lower half of the range.
The salary range for this position is $48,560-$59,500.
