Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production equipment to ensure consistent output and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, maintenance, and changeovers.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
- Identify and implement measures to improve machine efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support troubleshooting and maintenance activities to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth operations.
- Perform and oversee the processes of compression, coating and encapsulation to ensure product quality, efficiency and compliance.
Education, Skills and Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering is required for this role.
- 2 – 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a GMP-compliant environment.
- Familiarity with production equipment and technical troubleshooting.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems.
- Good understanding of compliance (Engineering, Quality, Safety).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using software tools for record-keeping and reporting (e.g., SAP, Excel).
- Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
This role is based on-site at our manufacturing facility in Pakistan.
