Job Description:

  • Train personnel in their respective duties and roles.
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and guidelines. 
  • Assign staff and allocate resources to meet daily production goals. 
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure product quality and compliance, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Complete end-of-shift reports and required documentation. 
  • Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout production and processing lines. 
  • Coordinate with supervisors and peers to sustain efficient operations. 
  • Communicate with shift handovers, including key issues, risks, and achievements. 
  • Perform SAP transactions and reconciliations accurately. 
  • Manage rework product disposition and proper material handling. 
  • Track and report rework consumption in daily meetings. 
  • Ensure consistent product movement and material flow through production. 
  • Coordinate material delivery and movement planning with Production, Quality, and Supervisory teams. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Important Details: The position is a full-time permanent role on 1st shift at our Northlake, TX manufacturing facility, which operates from 6:00 am to 02:30 pm Monday through Friday.  

About You: 

  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing lead capacity required.

  • Knowledge of tools, machines, safety precautions in an industrial/ manufacturing setting.

  • Ability to use knowledge, creativity, and initiative in recommending or implementing improvements in efficiency or safety of the work area.

  • Critical thinking and ability to communicate effectively.

 Education:  

  • Required: High School Diploma and one year of related work experience or,

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.)

  • Proficient in computer systems and digital tools, including data entry, record keeping, SOP creation, Alchemy systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively interact with diverse teams and departments. 

  • Proactive and accountable, taking ownership of equipment, production lines, personnel, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Team-oriented professional with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to collaboration and accountability. 

  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to accurately record, track, and document operational data. 

  • Flexible and dependable, able to work off-shifts, weekends, and extended hours (10–12-hour shifts) as needed. 

  • Skilled in managing and resolving conflict constructively while maintaining a positive work environment. 

  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced production setting, effectively prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
