Job Summary: You will serve as a Production Controller in the FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA, Spain.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1) Establishing key event and milestone lists for assigned projects to be in line with ship maintenance project strategy. 2) Coordinating maintenance requirements to resolve priority conflicts. 3) Formulating findings, briefings, blueprints and analyses to foster understanding and acceptance of recommendations. 4) Applying ship system testing methods to provide advice and technical services on interrelated issues. 5) Applying shipboard structural, mechanical, electrical engineering concepts to quality assurance/control requirements. Incumbent may be required to carry a mobile telephone device and remain available to support any emergency. This position requires a 'proficient' level of Spanish speaking and reading ability. The incumbent may be required to demonstrate proficiency by completing the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) with a minimum score of 1+, Oral Proficiency Interview, or other test (i.e. the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, minimum score Intermediate-High).
