Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Production Assembly and Support II to join our team.
Your Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of manual tasks including labeling, cutting, wrapping, and packaging products for shipment
• Operate hand and foot controls to apply labels, seal boxes, and move materials as needed
• Inspect products for quality defects before packing and shipping
• Stack, pack, and transport printed materials on pallets throughout the production area
• Read and follow job instructions to produce orders accurately and on time
• Assist across departments as needed to support production flow
• Maintain regular attendance and work cooperatively with team members, supervisors, and vendors
• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Duties may involve standing for long periods and occasional seated work
• Typical roles at this level include: Crater/Packer II, Light Assembler II, Folder Operator Assistant, Floor Assembler II, General Laborer Sr., Electronics Assembler I, Precision Assembler I. May operate base equipment when needed
Your Shift:
Monday - Friday, 7:30am -4:00pm
You Must Have:
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions such as work orders, part lists, or safety guidelines
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with fractions and decimals
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions
Requirements Within This Position:
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Frequently moves throughout the facility and operates machinery handling printed materials
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25+ pounds
We Would Also Prefer:
• High school diploma or equivalent
