Product Owner

Position Summary
As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in driving the development and delivery of solutions that support GSK’s mission. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product strategies, ensuring adherence to GSK’s high standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading the development and implementation of product strategies in alignment with business goals and patient needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (operations, quality, engineering, and regulatory) to ensure efficient product delivery.
  • Managing the product lifecycle, including technical risk assessments, process validation, and change management.
  • Providing technical leadership during product transfers, ensuring robust processes and compliance with control strategies.
  • Supporting investigations and root cause analyses to address product complaints and deviations, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, process efficiency, and performance.

Basic Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within a multinational organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing technical aspects of product lifecycle, including technology transfers, risk assessments, and process validation.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including formulation, equipment, and analytical testing.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.

Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the above, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience in oral solid dosage forms or other pharmaceutical dosage forms.
  • Ability to lead and influence within a matrix environment.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and improving manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of product transfer processes and development phases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
