In this role, your business acumen and analytical mindset will drive product development and revenue optimization decisions across OfferUp. You will synthesize large data sets into meaningful and actionable insights in support of company goals. This role is a hybrid role and requires you to be in the Bellevue, Washington office at least 2 days a week.

Here’s more of what you will get to do:

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to turn strategy into measurable outcomes through data and insights
  • Conduct deep-dive performance and cohort analyses to uncover key value drivers, retention trends, and growth opportunities that inform long-term strategy
  • Define and measure success for new features, ensuring outcomes align with business goals and inform future product decisions
  • Design, run, and interpret experiments to validate hypotheses and guide product and business decisions
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executives and cross-functional stakeholders, enabling confident, data-driven decisions
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into product performance, user behavior across cohorts, and operational health, empowering teams with self-service analytics

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • 7–10 years of experience in Product Operations, Product Strategy, Business Operations, or a related role with strong focus on analytics, experimentation, and cross-functional impact
  • High drive and intellectual curiosity — you naturally dig into the “why” behind the data, explore new angles, and seek to uncover insights others might miss

  • Deep understanding of cohort analysis and retention modeling to identify behavioral patterns and long-term value drivers
  • Experience designing, implementing, and interpreting A/B tests with statistical rigor
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills; you align stakeholders, present findings clearly, and drive impact
  • Strategic mindset with operational judgment — you know when to focus on the big picture versus the details and can balance both effectively
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys solving complex, cross-functional problems

Helpful, but not required

  • BA/BS degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field strongly preferred
