Procurement Agent Manager

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent Manager to join our BCA Supply Chain Castings and Forgings team in Everett, WA.

The selected individual will have the responsibility to lead a team of procurement agents and supply chain analysts to proactively reduce risk and improve supplier operational execution by focusing on proactive management of risks, issues, and opportunities, including rigorous management of rate changes and work transfer activities.  Actively reducing the number of suppliers in the Supplier of Concern (SOC) process, establishing and monitoring Get to Gold plans throughout the category, deploying robust quality plans and Perfect Product Plans, as applicable.

Our team is currently hiring for a Level K Procurement Agent Managers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ year of experience in contracts/supplier management
  • 5+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
  • 5+ years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • Knowledge of MPR, CMES, Velocity, Redars, PDM, ERPLN
  • Proven ability to execute commitments
  • Experience utilizing strategic decision making to drive business results

Summary pay range (Level K) $129,600 - $150,500
