The Opportunity:

Under general supervision, responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project. Plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements. Formulate project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the project team. Create frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.

TITLE: PDG Process Engineer

REPORT TO: Product Development Manager ,China

LOCATION:  Changzhou preferred

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This role will be responsible for the process development of single-use consumables across upstream to downstream in bioprocessing. The role will focus on the Process Development job of new products, like bags, bottles, bioreactors. With problem-solving as the core, manage various knowledge and resources and information, and efficiently resolve process development challenges.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Bachelor's degree Biochemistry, Biology, applied chemistry or related Science degree. Master is better.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in bioprocess industry.

Deep understanding of process and materials.

Product development and project management experience is must.

THOSE NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE JOB COMPETENTLY:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Be aware of the product family in the field of single-use products family.
  • Be familiar with the common raw materials in the field of single-use product family.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, process focus, comprehensive thinking abilities to overcome process challenges and achieve project objectives.
  • Know about processes such as injection molding, roto molding, blow molding, wielding, adhesive;
  • Good project management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork spirit and capabilities.
     

HOW YOU WILL THRIVE AND CREATE AN IMPACT:

  • Lead the process development to support product design/prototype making/prototype testing in research stage……….
  • Work closely with internal/external team to exploring process for new products.
  • Have a good understanding of regulations and QA knowledge and make sure that process/products comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Develop positive working relationships with design team/quality team/production team to ensure new product from prototype to products.
  • Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
