Raytheon’s Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer who will support systems integration activities primarily in Woburn MA in support of radar capability development, integration and test activities. You will be responsible for engineering activities that include systems integration, verification, validation, test, and data analysis for radar development events. You will work independently and side-by-side with multidisciplinary engineering team members.
What You Will Do:
Install and configure electronic hardware setups installed with software builds in a String facility/HWIL for supporting integration, verification, and test activities.
Interface hardware with software, configure installed hardware/software to interface with networked systems, maintain and develop documentation to support integration, test plans, test activities, and resolve technical inquiries.
Participate in integration and test planning/execution, executing verification/validation events, performing analysis, and providing status updates and reach-back assistance to program engineers/leads.
Execute integration activities using test equipment and navigate through schematics, documentation, and drawings.
Collaborate with program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, maintain configuration control, ensure test-setup readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness reviews).
Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
Executing integration, test methodology or other simulation-based environment, data analysis, and experience with basic scripting and/or software development (MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux (Red Hat Linux).
Systems engineering experience specifically including integration, verification and system testing.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems (Linux Red Hat), and Shell scripting for performing integration and test analysis, integrating and configuring electronics, installing/debugging software, and networking/troubleshooting electronic system connections.
Experience with electronic hardware configuration and installation, software installations on hardware devices, network configurations, operations of software in String/HWIL facility, and basic networking principles.
Experience with creating integration test procedures, test plans, test scripts, developing and maintaining configuration control documentation, and navigating through test setup schematics/diagrams.
Experience with technical writing, presentations, customer interaction skills, and willingness to perform tasks with various site facility leads, while communicating with remote stakeholders, or at a stakeholder site.
Experience with conducting performance analysis for verifying and validating integration or radar performance, and working with stakeholders to plan and execute test activities.
Strong individual integration skills, team interaction skills, and willingness to perform local and non-local travel.
Certifications in CompTIA Network+ and or CompTIA Security+.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
