We are looking for you to join our team as a Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A) Systems Engineer based out of Woodland Hills, CA. What You’ll get to Do:
In this role, you will work with Chief Mission Architect and peer MS&A Systems Engineers in collaborative small team environments to conduct research and analysis, develop models and simulations, and develop and implement algorithms.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and develop complex models and simulations for inertial navigation systems to predict system performance and support design decisions.
Conduct detailed analysis of system performance using simulation tools to identify potential improvements and ensure system requirements are met.
Develop and implement algorithms for inertial navigation systems, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.
Analyze simulation data to validate models and algorithms and provide insights into system behavior under various conditions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models and simulations into larger system architectures and participate in system testing and validation.
Prepare technical documentation and reports to communicate findings, methodologies, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in modeling and simulation technologies and apply them to improve existing systems.
Work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to ensure alignment and integration of models with overall system design.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Systems Engineer:
BS degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience in Systems Engineering, OR a MS degree and 3 years OR a Ph.D. and 1 year
Proven experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
Proficiency in simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar software. Experience with C/C++ or Python for algorithm development is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to cross-functional projects.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work, with a focus on quality and reliability.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, California.

BS degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related professional/military experience in Systems Engineering, OR a MS degree and 6 years OR a Ph.D. and 4 years
Proven experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
Proficiency in simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar software. Experience with C/C++ or Python for algorithm development is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
