JOB TITLE: Principal Member of Technical Staff

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, Texas 75075

DUTIES: Apply advanced engineering and scientific knowledge to architecture, design, and development work in a Research and Development environment for high-value technology and solutions tied to the strategic direction of the company. Service network design and architecture configuration with AT&T broadband network. Conduct design and development work in the areas of new products/technologies, systems/platform architecture, hardware/software development engineering, technical security, and QA Design/Certification. Work with new and emerging technologies and technical architectures on projects with a status between inception and implementation/software maturity. Serve as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering, and development. Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and deployment of broadband provisioning systems. Leverage software development and data modeling expertise to drive innovative solutions. Perform Network Integration of cloud-based technologies. Work on System Design and Implementation. Provide Network Engineering and Network Design of Broadband Products. Work on programming, scripting, and API development. Work on Ethernet networking (L2/L3) Protocol. Utilize access technologies including GPON, XGSPON, 25GPON, G. Fast, MoCA, and TR-069 CPE management. Utilize Element management systems including Access Management System and Altiplano Access Controller. Apply knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols. Apply knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN)/Network Function Virtualization (NFV). Utilize Kubernetes/Docker/Container’s deployment, HELM, and ANSIBLE. Apply knowledge of NETCONF/YANG, IPFIX, and KAFKA protocols. Utilize automated scripting languages. Utilize API components. Apply knowledge of IPTV video service delivery and SIP voice service delivery. Apply knowledge of Network engineering, network design, and network integration.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science or Electrical and Electronic Engineering and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation applying advanced engineering and scientific knowledge to architecture, design, and

development work in a Research and Development environment for high-value technology and solutions tied to the strategic direction of the company; utilizing access technologies including GPON, XGSPON, 25GPON, G.
