Responsibilities:

  • Lead all facility and factory maintenance requirements, including space planning, infrastructure readiness, and optimization of space utilization.
  • Develop and execute the Seletar Maintenance Plan, reviewing and updating existing maintenance procedures to meet the site’s design and operational needs.
  • Define and implement the Building Management System (BMS) & Energy Management System (EMS), ensuring seamless integration of utilities, equipment monitoring, and smart connectivity features.
  • Collaborate with the Building Construction and EH&S teams to ensure all environmental, health, and safety requirements are embedded in facility design and execution.
  • Work with Procurement to develop a robust critical spares and maintenance strategy, ensuring asset reliability and uptime.
  • Partner with the Smart Factory team to enable full digital connectivity between building infrastructure, machines, and equipment for data-driven maintenance and operations.
  • Establish Facility Security Officer (FSO) responsibilities and lead the implementation of building security systems, including physical access, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Define and oversee installation of central coolant and oil mist collection systems, collaborating with technical leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and standardized solutions.
  • Provide regular progress reviews and reports to leadership, ensuring alignment on site readiness, timeline, and budget.
  • Obtain approvals and manage stakeholder engagement for all factory maintenance and facility design requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Facilities)
  • At least 10 years’ of relevant working experience
  • Proven experience in facility setup, maintenance engineering, or manufacturing site commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, utilities, safety standards, and maintenance best practices.
  • Familiarity with smart factory systems, connected equipment, and digital maintenance tools.
  • Excellent project management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
