What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable technology roadmaps.
Design, develop, and maintain new and existing applications using Java, Springboot, Microservices, and modern cloud technologies.
Write high-quality code, perform testing and debugging, and ensure robust documentation.
Analyze business requirements and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions from ideation to production.
Lead solution design sessions, ensuring alignment with customer needs, scalability, and operational excellence.
Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Coordinate and monitor cross-functional initiatives, tracking progress, resource allocation, and budgets.
Represent business perspectives on system health and service quality, driving timely resolution of issues.
Promote best practices and process improvements within Business and IT teams.
Track and report on IT portfolio metrics, timelines, and critical path analysis to drive successful project delivery.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of progressive experience in software development and solution architecture.
Advanced proficiency in Java, Springboot (REST, MVC, Security), Spring Integration, Couchbase, Microservices, and Confluent Cloud.
Deep understanding of telecom industry standards, business processes, and technology solutions.
Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, Kafka, Jenkins, Git, OpenShift, AKS, and cloud-native development.
Proven ability to gather, document, and analyze complex business and technical requirements.
Experience leading solution design, product backlog management, and sprint/release planning in Agile environments.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to business and IT audiences.
Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams, conducting technical reviews, and maintaining documentation repositories.
(Preferred) Experience in end-to-end business process optimization and IT portfolio management.
Our Principal Applications Development, earns between $128,400-$215,800 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
