ROLE SUMMARY
- AstraZeneca is seeking a talented and strategic Pricing Manager based in Saudi Arabia to lead pricing governance, oversee pricing submissions to SFDA, and manage centralized pricing activities through GHC. The role ensures end to end accountability for all pricing operations across regulated, non-regulated, and tender products, driving compliance, process efficiency, and strategic alignment across functions and markets.
- You will manage the full pricing lifecycle for AstraZeneca products in Saudi Arabia, from initial submissions to renewals and appeals, while ensuring compliance with SFDA and GHC frameworks. You will also lead cross functional alignment on pricing strategies, support financial planning, and strengthen AstraZeneca’s position through data driven and transparent pricing practices.
What you’ll do
- Manage the preparation, submission, and follow up of SFDA pricing files, including initial pricing, renewals, variations, and appeals.
- Lead and coordinate centralized pricing submissions through GHC, ensuring full alignment across GCC markets.
- Oversee internal pricing documentation and governance for all product types (regulated, non-regulated, and tender).
- Issue and validate price certificates required for regulatory and business submissions.
- Ensure adherence to AstraZeneca’s global and local pricing governance frameworks and approval processes.
- Maintain oversight of pricing data integrity within global pricing systems, ensuring audit readiness and consistency.
- Provide analytical insights on product level pricing and market dynamics to inform business and access strategies.
- Collaborate cross functionally with Regulatory, Market Access, Finance, and Commercial teams to drive pricing strategies and value communication.
- Engage proactively with SFDA and GHC stakeholders on all price related matters in line with regulatory and business objectives.
- Contribute to scenario modeling and pricing simulations to support business cases and long term planning.
- Represent Saudi Arabia in regional and global pricing networks, sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement.

Essential for the role
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical pricing with strong exposure to SFDA and GHC pricing systems.
- Deep understanding of Saudi pricing regulations, governance requirements, and reimbursement frameworks.
- Experience managing tender pricing, commercial submissions, and appeals.
- Strong command of pricing systems and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, global pricing databases).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional collaboration and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
