Job Summary:
The Pricing Analyst I will focus on supporting pricing processes and strategies by analyzing data to improve revenue growth and profitability. This entry-level role is responsible for developing tools, conducting analyses, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure pricing practices align with business goals. The role involves assisting senior analysts and leadership in creating actionable pricing strategies based on insights and contributing to efficient and consistent pricing processes.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes pricing data and market trends to evaluate profitability impacts.
Supports the creation and refinement of pricing models for products and services.
Performs daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to track pricing performance and identifies trends.
Assists in margin management initiatives by addressing pricing discrepancies and transactional issues.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams on pricing approvals, standards, and workflows.
Prepares presentations summarizing pricing findings and recommendations for senior analysts and leadership.
Participates in the development of tools to streamline and automate data-driven decision-making processes.
Monitors competitive landscapes and pricing benchmarks to inform strategic decisions.
Contributes to the improvement of pricing controls and practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Statistics, Analytics, Economics, or Finance or related field required. Masters preferred.
0-2 years of experience in pricing, analysis, or related analytical functions.
Exposure to SQL and BI tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI) preferred.
Basic understanding of financial concepts such as profitability, margins, and cost structures.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills to present data and recommendations effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Foundational problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data efficiently.
