The Postdoctoral Scholar will play a central role in advancing interdisciplinary research in STEM higher education, with a focus on evaluating student learning outcomes and instructional practices. This position supports a collaborative research initiative led by faculty and staff from the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University. The Postdoctoral Scholar will engage in research activities aimed at improving STEM instruction and outcomes for students, particularly through qualitative inquiry.

Required: Ph.D. in STEM Education, Higher Education, or a closely related field.
•    Strong expertise in qualitative research methods, with demonstrated experience conducting and analyzing focus groups and interviews.
•    Proficiency in organizing and managing qualitative data.
•    Experience with literature review, research project management, and academic writing.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
•    Research interests may include STEM higher education, undergraduate STEM student retention and mixed methods research
•    Track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
•    Experience integrating qualitative and quantitative data (mixed methods).
•    Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with stakeholders.
•    Experience with coding software for qualitative data analysis (e.g., NVivo, Dedoose, ATLAS.ti).

The pay range for this job profile is $61,008 - $65,000. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications
