Performance Analyst

Job Description

What is the opportunity? 

The role is within the Performance and Analytics team. The Analyst will be required to analyze, design, and develop analytical tools to enhance our reporting process as well as improving existing applications. The Analyst will be responsible conducting thorough analysis on performance results and communicating investment results to related parties.

What will you do?

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end Python scripts
  • Prepare performance reports with insights of risk and return
  • Communicate investment results to related parties
  • Design models and tools using SQL to check data quality in internal database and external resources
  • Participate in creating data visualization tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency when delivering investment results.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Strong technology skills - Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas), PySpark, SQL
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in python developer role
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytically skilled, creative problem solver with experience producing, analyzing, and manipulating large sets of data. Strong attention to detail.

Nice to Have 

  • Working knowledge of Eagle or similar portfolio accounting and performance software
  • A solid understanding of equity securities, rate of return calculations, and awareness of security types across multiple asset classes
