Job Description

Role Overview 

As a People Analytics Consultant at U.S. Bank, you will serve as a strategic partner to HR and business leaders, helping them sharpen their business questions and align insights to measurable value—whether through revenue growth, cost savings, or operational efficiency. You will guide stakeholders to focus on the most impactful priorities and ensure that analytics products are not only insightful but also actionable and adopted effectively across the enterprise. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Consulting & Value Alignment 

  • Partner with business and HR leaders to refine and prioritize business questions that drive strategic outcomes. 

  • Translate stakeholder needs into analytics use cases that align with enterprise goals and measurable business value. 

  • Facilitate prioritization frameworks to ensure analytics efforts focus on high-impact opportunities. 

Insight Activation & Product Adoption 

  • Lead efforts to ensure insights are not only delivered but understood and applied by stakeholders. 

  • Provide consultative support post-delivery to guide interpretation, decision-making, and action planning. 

  • Collaborate with analytic and research teams to ensure analytics solutions are designed for usability and impact. 

Data Storytelling & Executive / Senior Leader Engagement 

  • Synthesize complex data into compelling narratives tailored to executive audiences. 

  • Present findings with clarity and influence, driving strategic decisions and organizational alignment. 

  • Collaborate with analytic team to maintain dashboards and visualizations 

Technical Enablement & Fluency 

  • Possess working knowledge of data tools/visualization tools to support exploratory analysis and product validation. 

  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data integrity and usability of analytics products. 

  • Support self-service enablement by educating stakeholders on tools and data literacy. 

Stakeholder Partnership & Influence 

  • Build trusted relationships across HR, Centers of Excellence, and business units. 

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with minimal oversight, ensuring alignment and momentum. 

  • Serve as a connector between business needs, research insights, and product development. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Experience in analytics consulting, preferably in HR or workforce domains. 

  • Strong business acumen with a focus on strategic impact. 

  • Ability to quantify insights in terms of revenue, cost savings, or efficiency. 

  • Strong storytelling skills to engage senior leaders and promote data-driven decisions. 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. 

  • Proven ability to influence and drive insight adoption. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Applied experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or similar methodologies to define business questions and measure impact. 

  • Advanced proficiency in analytics tools and HR data systems. 

  • Skilled in data visualization and analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R).

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
