20Summary:
The Pediatric Feeding Preparation Technician prepares and delivers specialized infant, pediatric, and adolescent formulas and human milk feedings in accordance with physician orders and dietitian instructions. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and safety in formula and milk preparation while supporting nutrition education, patient screening, and multidisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.
Hours: 20 hours per week, includes rotating weekends with other Techs.
Required Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
2 years of experience working in a nutrition, dietitian, food service, or related healthcare field.
Must be able to use mathematical calculations to scale and convert recipes for milk preparation, and the ability to use weights and measuring tools and equipment for milk preparation.
OR
An Associate’s degree in nutrition, dietitian, food service, or related healthcare field may be substituted for the required education and experience.

Required Certification:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, and maintain a Texas Food Handler’s Certification and a ServSafe Food Handler’s Certification.
