Patient Financial Services Supervisor (4 Days in office and 1 day working remote)

Join the Patient Financial Services team at New York Presbyterian.

 

As a Patient Accounts Supervisor, you will oversee the 3rd party payors' accounts receivable activities for several network hospitals within our Patient Financial Services department. You will use your previous management experience as you supervise employees by overseeing productivity and quality, managing staff attendance, and ensuring that work lists include the appropriate work assignments daily. You will also work closely with various internal departments, as well as with external payers and entities.

As a Patient Financial Services supervisor, you will understand our hospital's mission and consistently stress the themes of respect and engagement.

 

Preferred Criteria

  • Associates or equivalent

  • Microsoft Office – Word and Excel

 

Required Criteria

  • High school diploma

  • Two years of progressive work-related experience 

  • Thorough working knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding

  • Prior supervisory experience

  • Knowledge of New York State third-party regulations

$74,000-$105,500/Annual
