Job Summary

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000, Depending on Experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

Location: 40 Grosvenor Place, London, SW1X 7AW (on-site only)

Contract: Full time & Permanent  

What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Patient Coordinator. You will work collaboratively with the Medical Secretary Team and provide administrative support of the highest quality to consultants, performing a variety of duties to support consultants such as handling telephone calls, liaising with patients, scheduling and dealing with all related correspondence. The role will also require effective and sensitive communication with patients to provide a world class service and patient experience.

What will your duties include?

  • Administration support for the Medical Secretary team with their duties

  • Liaising between Contact Centre and Medical Secretary team to support with administration alignment and communications between the two teams

  • Supporting Medical Secretaries with transferring the practice of new Physicians joining Cleveland Clinic London  – patient records, practice records.

  • Serve as an administrative point of contact and act as a liaison between the patient and consultant.

  • Supports the consultant and patient with queries relating to the patient treatment pathway

  • Work collaboratively with the patient access and business office teams and provide guidance to the patient as appropriate to facilitate a seamless patient journey.

  • Manage and prioritise multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively under the direction of the Medical Secretary Manager and Clinical Institute Leadership; manages and edits consultant schedules, consultant diaries, coordinating patient appointments, and responding to queries from patients, staff, and others

  • Other duties as required

What we need from you?

  • Medical administration expirience is essential

  • Experience working in a private healthcare setting is desirable

  • Experience of using Electronic Medical Records Systems is essential

  • Experience of private practice management software is desirable

  • Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) is essential
