Checkout is one of the fastest growing business lines within Payoneer. Launched in 2022 and now available on all major shopping cart platforms in the region and around the world, Payoneer Checkout offers a highly competitive value proposition catering to a rapidly growing cross-border eCommerce market. It helps small to medium sized eCommerce merchants in APAC to sell their products to consumers around the world, using a shopping cart platform to host their storefronts and products. With the benefit of collecting and making payments in multiple currencies across all major card networks, Payoneer Checkout is uniquely positioned to address the rising needs of cross-border merchants.

This is the first role of its kind for Checkout, and it holds unique potential for personal and professional growth. It is a high-impact, high-visibility role that will be a key driver for Payoneer’s growth in the region. It will focus on driving acquisition of new merchants and growing the Checkout product line by building scalable sales funnels via a robust portfolio of local, regional and strategic partners (e.g., eCommerce shopping cart platforms, digital & web agencies, logistic partners, etc.) that deliver large numbers of high value referred merchants.

What you’ll do

  • Own and deliver acquisition and growth of new referral & channel partners for Payoneer Checkout, with the goal to meet & exceed defined revenue targets for the APAC region
  • Acquire & develop new partners through identifying, pitching, and activating partners to deliver successful referrals for Payoneer Checkout opportunities across key verticals
  • Develop partners’ ability to grow their business through selling Payoneer's solutions, by jointly developing short and long term strategic plans
  • Continuously develop and refine the Payoneer Checkout partner strategy across the entire partner funnel from acquisition to through to partner growth in the region
  • Drive Partner Performance Management through periodic business performance measurement, analysis of large sets of data against KPIs, SLAs, and key data points
  • Develop strategic content together with Marketing and other cross-functional teams, to promote partner focused acquisition, onboarding, and growth activities
  • Represent Payoneer to drive awareness & new user acquisition and engagement through campaigns, events, and other co-marketing initiatives

  • Experience in identifying high-impact partnership opportunities, creating and operationalizing models that unlock their full potential, and nurturing them for sustained success
  • Strong cross collaboration skills that enable you to partner closely with internal stakeholders in achieving shared goals and KPIs
  • Innate ability to understand the fundamentals of payments technology
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with an ability to forge trusting and collaborate relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Strong drive for excellence that motivates you to continually improve and develop your skills
  • Clarity of thought, sense of urgency and independence in delivering your goals with minimal guidance

Skills, Qualification and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: revenue quota carrying direct sales experience and/or indirect channels partnerships management, business development in the eCommerce payment acceptance industry, or a strongly relevant vertical
  • Familiarity and knowledge with major ecommerce shopping cart platforms, PSPs, Payment Gateway solutions & implementation partners, acquiring banks, Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) and local acquirers in the Asia Pacific region
  • Strong experience working with global virtual teams across functions and geographies
  • Fluent in English, with outstanding communication and presentation skills, with comfort in creating and delivering presentations at the executive level
  • Abundant experience with CRM, BI, technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of technical proficiency 

Not a must but a great advantage:

  • Experience with Payment Service Providers, Acquirers, Gateways, Card Networks 
  • Experience with direct sales for small businesses engaged in cross border trade 
  • Experience with data analytics & BI tools
