Department/Product Overview

The Dow Jones Partners and Licensing team (PAL) fosters and grows relationships with Partners and Licensors around the world, helping to power the Professional Information Business, the B2B division of Dow Jones & Company.

Position Statement

As a Partner Success Specialist within the PAL operations team you should have a solid experience with the end- to-end sales & partnerships operations and processes including onboarding, reporting, and administrative & CRM support . you will manage the activation, on-boarding, and maintenance of Partners and Information Providers. You also will require strong collaboration skills, the ability to multi-task multiple complex projects simultaneously. This position will report to the Client Engagement Director, PAL.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day operational activities for new and/or existing partners including providing operations and administrative support to the different teams within PAL to enable them to reduce inefficiencies and overall admin work
  • Support and work with the PAL team in successfully onboarding partners once agreements are signed or modified. Activities include working with different teams internally and externally, ensuring proper content testing and delivery, billing set up and invoicing, and records management
  • Provide guidance and expertise to the PAL Managers and Directors to navigate the different CRM systems
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate records within the global CRM systems providing timely management information
  • Assist in data analysis, reporting, communication, and enabling of available data to the PAL team
  • Continuously look for ways to improve, automate and provide to the PAL team data-driven decisions
  • Manage both internal and external expectations on processes, timelines, approvals, and deadlines
  • Assist PAL team in retaining Dow Jones' contracted revenue and/or content provision, ensuring content, products, and services suitably address business needs
  • Work in close collaboration with Legal, Finance, Product and Tech teams to ensure technical feasibility, compliance with Certification requirements, completion of NDAs and Partner suitability evaluations, agreement negotiations, vetting and implementation of demo/trials, and new and on-going record management and reporting

Experience/Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in an operations-focused role within a B2B partnership or sales team
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and other CRM systems
  • Experience of providing operation and admin support to partnership teams across media, telcos, associations and membership groups is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and high proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Proficiency in data visualization (QuickSight, Data Studio, Tableau, Power Pivot) and dashboard building is a plus.
