Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking a Part-Time Software Program Analyst in San Luis Obispo, CA. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow with a dynamic team of technical professionals. This role is ideal for a technically savvy Higher Education student seeking a part-time job with a flexible schedule. In this role, you may develop, enhance, and/or maintain automated tests, tools, and/or software code for our commercial and government programs. You will assist with technical projects across the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile roles. 

Position Responsibilities:  

• Provides assistance to design, program, and execute simple tests

• Implements, documents, and maintains basic computing applications

• Writes and compiles basic code and constructs basic database objects based on documented design

• Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality

• Supports the development of software components and hardware-software integration by assisting in the creation and execution of automated test cases to verify software performance and function

• Identifies and documents defects

• Other duties as assigned 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):  

• Experience with Java using Spring/Hibernate

• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript using ReactJS/Redux/Sagas

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), code reviews (e.g., Gerrit), unit testing and frameworks (e.g., Junit), issue and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira), build automation tools (e.g., Maven), web servers (e.g., Tomcat), web services (e.g., SOAP, REST), database persistence (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and module bundling (e.g., Webpack)

Summary base pay range $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
